Jour 01 : Arrive Bombay. Visite des lieux importants de Mumbai.

Upon your arrival at Mumbai, you will be transferred to your hotel by a professional guide. Mumbai is the capital of Maharashtra and is the most populous city. It is known for its history, culture, night life, and much more. If you are visiting this place, you must try the wondrous “Vada Pav” that is known to have originated here.

The first stop at the Mumbai tour will be the Elephanta Caves. The caves have several basalt-carved rooms that were built around 400 AD and 800 AD. It also has a main chamber with two other chambers adjacent to shrines and gardens. These caves are symbolic of Hindu and Buddhist culture. Then, you will be taken to the Haji Ali Dargah. It is an iconic mausoleum comprising of the tomb of Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari, a Muslim saint. Then you will be taken to Kanheri Caves. These caves represent the Buddhist culture. Every cave has water cisterns, inscriptions, sacred texts, and much more within them. The cave is famed for its 109 entrances. Then, you will be transferred to Juhu Beach. Jour 02 : Arrive Aurangabad.

Today, you will be transferred to the Mumbai airport for your Aurangabad flight. Upon arriving you will be transferred to your new hotel where you will relax.

Aurangabad is one of the oldest cities in India. It is named after its Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. The city was renamed Fatehnagar. However, the name was restored later. It is home to several rock-cut monuments, sculptures, historical places, and much more. Aurangabad is also a renowned place that captivates most of the tourists for a visit as well. Jour 03 : Visite des grottes d'Ajanta.

Wake up to some delicious breakfast and get transferred to Ajanta Caves. Today, you will spend an entire day at the Ajanta Caves. These caves are one of the oldest World Heritage Sites situated in India. It has carvings, sacred texts, and paintings that represent the classical Indian art. These caves were formed around the 2nd century BC and 6th century AD. The cave isa great instance for a complete rock-cut monolithic cave in India. These caves also comprise Buddhist stupas and pillars. Ranging from ceilings to walls, Buddhist culture and history have been engraved on them. The caves had been hidden by vegetation initially. However, later they have been discovered. It is also believed that Buddha attained nirvana in these caves. The caves are nearly 2,000 years old and are a great spot of attraction in Aurangabad. Jour 04 Visite des grottes d'Ellora.

Today, you will be transferred to Ellora caves to spend a full day sightseeing the location. The Ellora Caves is another fantastic location to visit in Aurangabad. These caves were built by the Kalachuri, Chalukya, and Rashtrakuta kings. These caves are excavated art of the Charanandri Hills. They comprise of 34 caves that represent the Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain religions. These caves are also known as “VerulLeni '' and are listed under the World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Out of these 34 caves, the “Vishvakarma Cave” is extremely popular. It is also known as the “Carpenter’s Cave,” which represents the Buddhist religion. The other cave called the “Dashavatara Cave '' is also a famous cave representing the Hindu god, Lord Vishnu. Post-tour, you will be transferred to the railway station for your train to Hyderabad.

Jour 05 : Arrive Hyderabad. Visite des lieux importants d'Hyderabad.

Today, upon your arrival at Hyderabad, you will be transferred to your new hotel where you will relax your muscles. Then, you will head out for a wondrous tour across the city. Hyderabad is the capital of Telangana. It is located along the banks of River Musi. It is also famed as “The City of Mughals and NIzams” because they ruled this city for a long period of time.

At the tour, the first stop will be at the Charminar. The monument was built by Qutb Shah when he moved his capital from Golconda to Hyderabad. It is a square-shaped building with tall minarets. From above, you can view the entire city. Then, you will be taken to the Chowmahalla Palace. This was once the residence of Nizams. It has a Persian-Arabic style of architecture. It comprises four palaces, fountains, and courtyards. The “Khilwat Mubarak '' is the soul palace of the entire Chowmahalla Palace. Then, you will be taken to the QutbShahi tombs. These tombs are built in honor of the seven kings of the QutbShahi dynasty. These tombs were designed and built by the Qutb Shahi itself. They have Persian and Naskh inscriptions and decorations on them. They are also home to several graves, grandeur, and enamel tiles as well. Post-journey, overnight at the hotel.

Jour 06 : Visite d'autres lieux importants d'Hyderabad.

Today, you can visit the city on your own at leisure. One of the exquisite locations to discover is the Golconda Fort. The fort was renovated by PratapaRudra of the Kartikeya Dynasty. It is located on a granite hill. The fort once served as military defense. Apart from great panoramic views, the fort also consists of an 800 years old tree. It also has a secret tunnel from the Durbar Hall which you can visit. Other places of interest include the HussainSagar. It is an urban lake that is heart-shaped. It holds a large Buddha statue in the center. Here, you can go boating across the lake and capture loads of pictures as well. You can also visit the Ramoji Film City. It is the world’s largest film studio. It has a theme park, adventure zones, rides, and talent shows as well. Post-tour, overnight at the hotel.

Jour 07 : Arrive Chennai. Visite des lieux importants de Chennai.

Today, you will be transferred from Hyderabad to Chennai by flight. On reaching Chennai, you will be transferred to your new hotel. Chennai is the capital of Tamil Nadu. It is known for its vast culture and historical monuments. It also consists of the oldest engineering and medical colleges in the world. After Mumbai, it has the second largest number of theatres in India. Chennai is also known as the “Automobile Hub of India.”

The first stop at the Chennai Tour is at Marina Beach. It is the second longest beach in the world. It comprises several eateries, showpieces, artifacts, and jewelry. Here, you can find people flying kites and pony riding as well. Then, you will visit the St. Thomas Cathedral Basilica. This church was rebuilt in 1896,and it has a neo-Gothic style to it. It is the first zoo started in India and is also the largest zoo in South Asia. It has an area of 600 hectares. Jour 08 : Visite des lieux importants Mahabalipuram. & Kanchipuram.

Today, you will be taken to Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram for an amazing excursion.

The first location you will be covering is Mahabalipuram. The place comprises several temples that were built by the Pallava kings. They required a lot of planning which took more than 200 years for the temples to get completed. The first stop will be at the Shore Temple. This temple is located on the banks of the Bay of Bengal. It was built during the 700-728 AD and is now part of the World Heritage Site under UNESCO. It is one of the oldest stone temples in India and is also called the “Seven Pagodas.” Then, you will be taken to the Pancha Rathas. It is a monument that is built in honor of the great epic, Mahabharata. It is listed under UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It has five Rathas dedicated to the five Pandava brothers. Then, you will visit Mahabalipuram Beach. Here, you can chill and relax as you watch the marvelous views. It is near the Shore Temple. You can go surfing here, as it is a renowned watersport in this region.

The second location you will be taken to is Kanchipuram. It was once the capital of the Pallava Dynasty. It is known for silk sarees and sacred temples. It is also called the “Land of Thousand Temples.” The first stop will be at the Kamakshi Amman Temple. It is a temple dedicated to Goddess Kamakshi. The temple is also one of the 51 Shakthi Peethas. It is covered in gold and has a wondrous architectural style as well. It was once called as the “Bhoga Peetam.” Then you will visit the Ekambareswarar Temple. It is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and also constitutes one of the five major Shiva temples. It is also the sixth tallest gopuram in the world. Then, you will visit the Satyanatheswarar Temple. It is also one of the major temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located in Thirukalimedu town. Post-tour, overnight in Chennai.

Jour 09 : Arrive Mysore.

Today, you will be transferred to the Chennai railway station to board your train to Mysore. Upon your arrival at Mysore, you will be transferred to your new hotel.

Mysore is a popular tourist location in Karnataka. It was once the capital of the Wodeyar Kingdom. During Dussehra, the city is most visited for its rich display of lights and celebrations. It was one of the first planned cities in Asia. The city gets its name from “Mahishuru,” a demon who was slain by Goddess Chamundeshwari. For 500 years, the royal family of Wadiyars ruled this place. The first and oldest university called the “Mysore University '' was built here. It is home to several monuments, parks, and zoos as well. Overnight at Mysore.

Today, you will be transferred to Belur and Halebid for an excellent tour.

The first location will be Belur. This city is a famous religious site in India. It was once the capital of the Hoysala Empire. It has a warm and humid climate. It is widely known for its temples that have beautiful carvings, inscriptions, culture, and architecture. The first location here you will be visiting is the Chennakeshava Temple. This temple has a Dravidian architectural style. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple has a tall 42m pillar that stands on its own. It doesn’t have a base or foundation. Hence, it is also known as the gravity pillar. Then, you will visit the Hoysala Temple Complex. It consists of several monuments that highlight the Hoysala Empire. The temples have a Nagara and Dravidian style of architecture. They majorly have a star-shaped plan. The exteriors have numerous decorations and interiors are filled with iconography. Then, you will be taken to the Shankaralingeshwara Temple. It has a wonderful architecture style to it that depicts the glorious Hoysala Kingdom. It has several finite details that represent deities, gods, and their life.

The second location you will be covering is Halebidu. It was once the regal capital of the Hoysala Empire. The town gets its name because it was damaged before. It consists of several Jain and Hindu Temples. It was deserted by the Delhi Sultanate years back. The first stop will be at the Hoyasaleswara Temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It has huge pillars, stone carvings, statues, and expansive designs that are captivating. It was once looted and was ruined as well. However, later it was rebuilt. Then, you will visit the Halebidu Archaeological Site. This site consists of more than 100 sculptures and inscriptions that signify the history of the location. They also consist of artifacts that represent the 12th and 13th-century era. Then, you will be taken to the Kedareshwar Temple. It is a 13th-century temple that was built by King VeeraBallala II and his wife,QueenKetaladevi. It is made up of Soapstone. It has a great architecture accompanied by a staggered square style. Jour 11 : Visite des lieux importants de Mysore.

Wake up to some yummy breakfast in your hotel and head out for a wondrous Mysore Tour. The first stop will be at the Mysore Palace. This palace was originally built of wood. Later, when it got burnt, it was rebuilt with a blend of Indi-Saracenic, Rajput, Muslim, and Gothic architectural styles. It is also a museum that showcases several royal jewelry, paintings, and dresses. Then, you will be taken to the Jaganmohan Palace. It was once the residential home of the royal family. It was constructed in 1861 and is now an exhibition hall. This palace was also made of wood, but later it was reconstructed when it got burnt down. Then, you will be taken to the Brindavan Gardens. It is a garden that has wondrous flora. It comprises numerous fountain shows as well. It is located near the Krishnarajasagar Dam. Post-tour, overnight at the hotel.

It is famed for its exotic interiors that consist of artifacts, paintings, stairs, chandeliers, candlesticks, and much more. Post-journey, overnight in Bangalore.
